Has there been a nuclear attack?

It was about 30 years ago now. I had been a keen tropical fish keeper since I was in my early twenties and always thought that someday I would open my own tropical fish shop.

I imagined how great that would feel, earning my living doing something I enjoyed. Getting paid for what I was doing in my spare time as a hobby.

I was working as a computer programmer for a small company at the time and quite unexpectedly I received a payout from them for some shares I had in the company. Basically, each employee had been allowed to contribute to a share scheme, the company got bought out and we each got paid for our shares.

At last, I could fulfill my dream of owning my own shop.

I looked around my local area, found a shop that was up for a small monthly rent and invested my money in getting it all the shelving etc. in place and opened up.

I was still working during the week but would spend every Saturday in the shop.

Like anyone starting out with a new venture I was optimistic, enthusiastic and happy. I looked forward to the day, not too far in the future I believed, when I would be able to quit my day job and become a full-time entrepreneur running my shop.

Within a year my joy and enthusiasm had started to turn to despair. Things hadn’t turned out as I had expected. I quickly learned why the rent was as low as it was.

There was no traffic, no visitors.

Most Saturday afternoons I would stand outside the front of my shop and look up and down the street. The shop next door was owned by a butcher named Mr. Patrick.

I remember one particular Saturday afternoon when we were both standing outside our shops. Mr Patrick looked across at me and asked “Do you think there’s been a nuclear attack that they haven’t told us about?”

There wasn’t a single person as far as the eye could see in either direction.

Fast forward several years and I’m trying to make money online as an affiliate and my affiliate offers look remarkably like my old shop. I had the most attractive shop on the street then and now I had what I considered the best offer but was getting no visitors to either.

Whether you are running a brick and mortar shop business or an online business – without visitors (traffic) your business is dead.

Things are different now for one very good reason. I found someone that was good at doing something I was clearly bad at and copied what he was doing. I got a mentor.

I’ve had lots of mentors since then and still do to this day. It’s the only way to succeed at anything. Everyone I know personally that doing well online has a mentor and usually more than one mentor.

Quick Question:

What would it mean to you to have multiple streams of visitors coming to your sites who are in the mood for BUYING?

Well, that’s exactly what Rob has achieved:

Traffic Matrix

He’s used it to go completely from scratch to build a 6-figure work-at-home lifestyle business in less than 5 years.

The great thing about this is not just the quantity of traffic you can generate with these methods but also that the QUALITY is top notch.

In other words this is traffic that converts into email optins, affiliate commissions and sales of your own products.

Traffic Matrix

Kind regards,

Trevor
