Over 95% Of People Online Fail – And I Know Why

It’s a sad fact, but true, that over 95% of people that come online looking to make an income fail to make any money at all.

People don’t always fail immediately, in fact, the majority of new starters struggle on for months or even years before they eventually have to admit defeat and give in. I don’t know about you but I find that very disturbing when I think of all the pain they go through trying to make this thing work.

But enough about other people – what about you? What does your typical week online look like? Are you still struggling with your online efforts?

If a typical week for your is frustrating, overwhelming and disappointing then you are not on your own by any means and according to Rich Schefren it’s not your fault either.

Having gone through the same problems myself in the past I decided a few years ago now to use Rich as a mentor to show me where I was going wrong. Everything seemed much harder than I’d been led to believe it should be by many of the other so-called gurus. Despite how hard I worked nothing seemed to work. And when things didn’t work I just got more frustrated, looked for more ‘sure-fire solutions’ and worked even harder. When that still didn’t work I took on more ways to make money and worked even harder again.

I was so caught up in this cycle, like a hamster running endlessly round an exercise wheel, that I couldn’t see what I was doing wrong or a way out.

Does that sound familiar to you?

I was convinced that there must be something wrong with me, that I wasn’t cut out for this online stuff. If you feel the same, and I know lots of you do, then be re-assured that it’s probably your approach that’s wrong and that’s easy to fix.

Almost certainly the mistake you’re making, and the one that I was making, is that you’re thinking as an opportunity seeker not as a strategic entrepreneur.

The important thing to know is that every day that you continue in this mode is another day that you are killing your chances of making it online.

It’s that serious, so serious, in fact, that you shouldn’t waste any more time finding out if that is where you’re going wrong.

As soon as I understood the difference between these two approaches and changed my approach my online experiences began to change. Rich is still my mentor and I’m still learning new things but I now understand what I need to do to get where I want to be.

I know from my own experiences with Rich the difference it has made for me and I know it will for you. I went on to join one of his mentoring programs which put me streets ahead of the majority of people trying to build an online income.

This type of mentoring isn’t for everyone but if you are really serious about learning online marketing from a master Rich’s mentoring may be just what you’re looking for.

One of the revelations at the time for me is obvious now but not so obvious when you’re on the hamster wheel and it was simply this. When was taking on more stuff ever the answer to already having too much to do? Sounds obvious right? But that’s what almost everybody is doing online these days, more so these days with the massive amount of overload that everybody feels than ever before.

Trying this, trying that, buying more and more ‘bright shiny objects’ as they are called, more surefire ways of finally making it online when there are already too many things to do.

Time to get off the hamster wheel don’t you think?

. . . . if you decide to check Rich’s mentoring out will you do something for me? Will you come back to this post and put up a comment about what you gained from looking at it and what you are going to do differently in the future.

To your success,

Trevor
