No website? – No Problem – See Why Today
Now that the holiday festivities are well out of the way it’s time to get stuck in and make things really happen in 2013 don’t you think? One of the things that holds lots of people back online is the techie stuff. I know from your emails that the need to have a website to provide a squeeze page to capture email addresses and sales pages to sell your products is a major roadblock to many of you.
If that’s where you are right now I have some really good news to help you get the year off to a good start. You can still get started with no website.
I received a couple of emails this week that really got me confused. Initially, I thought that I must be losing it and had to check a couple times to be sure I wasn’t seeing things as I’ll explain.
Both emails were alerting me to a new ebook, both on the same topic and both from someone with the same last name. Seemed to be too weird to be true.
On closer examination I found that they were, in fact, from different people and both provided a simple method for generating an online income without needing to create your own website. I purchased both products and during this last week I’ve been working through them. I like both methods and am happy to recommend them to you.
The first one is an ebook from Kelly Stone entitled Squidoo Evolution. The concept behind Squidoo Evolution is simple but very effective. As Kelly states in her introduction, “in Squidoo Evolution I’m going to show you how you can combine the power of Amazon and Squidoo to build a steady income stream without having to worry about learning lots of new skills. It’s simple, but it works and the best part is that you can repeat the process over and over”.
It’s much easier to get your lenses (the name for the pages you create in Squidoo) ranked well in Google than a page on your own website because Google likes Squidoo pages. You do need to know how to create your lenses the right way though but Kelly shows you how to do this in Squidoo Evolution.
To operate this system requires no technical skills at all, you don’t need to pay for hosting, Squidoo is free to use, and they are very happy about you recommending products as an affiliate. There really isn’t an easier way to get started making money than this.

The second email alerted me to another very similar product called Ideas Express from Erica Stone. You can see why I was confused. The concept behind Ideas Express is very similar in that it also used the combined power of Squidoo and Amazon but adds a few different twists on the basic theme.
With Ideas Express you get the instruction ebook and various worksheets and templates to use in creating your lenses.

Although both of these products cover the same basic concept I was happy that I got both of them because there are tips and ideas in both that complement each other very well.
The big benefit of using Amazon as your source for affiliate commissions is that Amazon does a great job of selling for you. All you have to do is get people from your lens over to Amazon and they do the rest very well.
Unable to become an Amazon affiliate?
I know that if you live in certain States in the US you are unable to get accepted as an Amazon affiliate. That’s not an issue when you use Squidoo and both guides explain how this works.
These are methods that you can implement immediately, start making money from quite quickly and repeat over and over. Having now worked through both methods, I’ve put a system that I’ve started using myself as another on-going income stream for 2013.
As I create more of these lenses I’ll see that some will do well and some not so well. In time I’ll select the ones that are doing very well and build a website around that topic so that I can capture email addresses and sell more products and services to my subscribers. Squidoo provides a lot of potential.
