Sunday Supplement – How To Consistently Add Hundreds Of Subscribers To Your List Every Week

Trevor here, I hope you’re well. Welcome to my Sunday Supplement. I’m sure that you’ve heard the expression ‘The money is in the list’.

And there’s a good reason for that – it’s true.

Having your own list is the only way to keep complete control of your business. The list is yours and nobody can take it away from you when they feel like it.

Unlike any social media friends list which can disappear overnight.

Building an opt in email list should be your top priority.

A part of your daily activity should be building a group of people who will read your valuable content, buy your products and services, or buy your affiliate offers.

Slow and steady wins the race here and just know that it is feasible to add more than a hundred subscribers to your list on a weekly basis.

This is without depending on Search Engine Optimization or any secret formula. The key is consistency.

The method I’m going to share here works well and can add many hundreds of subscribers to your list as you become familiar with it.

A major mistake made by internet marketing newbies is their thinking that the number added this week has to exponentially increase the next week. This is a total misconception.

Using this model you start small and rise in slow increments as you go. There is nothing wrong with building your list slowly as long as it’s consistent.

Keep in mind that the consistent addition to your list on a weekly basis of a hundred subscribers will generate one thousand subscribers in just ten weeks.

These one thousand subscribers have the potential of netting you a thousand dollars or more each month…if you maintain a good relationship with your list. This translates into a twelve thousand dollar a year income from just this one list of subscribers.

The essential component with this is your squeeze page which will convert your website traffic into your subscribers.

If you need some ideas for a squeeze page I recommend you get my free report which you can download at this link.

>> Squeezepage

Most marketers tend to use either Aweber or Getresponse as their autoresponder choice for capturing email addresses on their squeeze page.

Website Traffic
You can get some traffic generating ideas by finding ezine articles written by other marketers in your chosen niche. The purpose of doing this is to compile a list of marketers from your niche who are email list owners.

You can do this by visiting forums in your selected niche, or checking out ezinearticles.com.

Additionally, take a look in Google to see if you can find more ezine articles in your niche.

Contact individual marketers personally by email, and ask if they would sell you a paid solo ad to their list, and what the cost is to send it out to their subscribers.

This is generally very economical. If you drop on a good list you can get hundreds of new subscribers for less than fifty dollars. It may also be possible to place an ad within their ezine article, preferably at the top, rather than the bottom.

A Google search will result in a large number of ezine articles for you to source. To save time you may want to research the Directory of Ezines.

This directory supplies you with the number of subscribers per list, the cost to mail to these lists, and any other pertinent information concerning each list.

Remember that with a well maintained email list, each subscriber generally equates to at least one dollar per month as income.

There will be some ezine owners who will not consent to a paid solo ad, but you will have plenty who will since it will be profitable for them. It only takes a few quality list sources for this to produce the needed traffic to your website. This is great technique that will help you build your opt-in email list.

An excellent strategy is to avoid hitting them up first with an expensive offer. As they progress through your opt-in process, make your new list member an offer that gives them so much value, that it would be crazy for them not to take advantage of the offer.

And this more subtle method is generally more profitable. They don’t know you at first, or have a reason to trust you enough to make a large purchase from you.

It is a great way to offer your potential members or prospects something of greater value to them than what it would normally cost. This will put them in the frame of mind of getting a great deal, which will make them very receptive to your future offers.

They will check their email regularly for more of your deals. People want to know what you can do for them or how you can solve their problems.

This method will condition them to become and continue to be paying customers, instead of just reading your valuable information without actually purchasing any of your offers.

Any customer who makes one purchase has a high probability of making future purchases, especially with offers that cost ten dollars or less.

These members are much more valuable to your business than the subscribers who never purchase anything. However, don’t devalue those subscribers, as they may refer others who will make a purchase.

This strategy will also help you to compensate for money spent on promotion or advertising costs. It will also become profitable over time if you continue to provide them with valuable information on a consistent basis.

New customers will be more open to your future offers, and will remember you from their previous product purchase, so your follow up email offers have a greater likelihood of producing more sales for you.

It is important that you present them with exceptional value over and above the cost of the product.

Over-delivery on your part will lead to future sales and may lead to engagement on your blog or social media page. In addition they will be more inclined to tell others about your business, and promote your products as an affiliate.

An illustration of a valuable offer could be where one of your products that normally costs almost one hundred dollars has gone for months with little or no sales. Offer this same product to new subscribers for ten dollars.

In addition to this, tell them that you are practically giving it to them at such an unbelievable bargain, because you want to make them loyal customers.

Remember that during the process of building an email list, it is vitally important to supply quality, informative content to educate your subscriber, in addition to soft selling them on your products that will solve their problem. This will get them excited about you, your emails, and buying more of your products.

Be respectful to your subscribers, and always avoid sending them stuff with a ton of offers and no valuable content. You are there to make their lives better.

If they feel that you are motivated only by money they will unsubscribe, maybe send your emails to the spam folder, or delete them all together. They have to see that you care about them to become your dedicated, loyal customers now and in the future.

As always, I hope you found this week’s supplement useful and as always I love to hear your comments.

Have a GREAT Sunday,

Until next time,

Kind regards,

Trevor
